For the millionth day in a row (at least it feels that way) I get to walk around catching wind of my disgusting smelling cocoa butter. Ive been using this GUNK in hopes of not getting any stretch marks, so far its doing the trick. The only down fall to all of these stretch mark creams and butters is they all STINK. Do the companies not realize that pregnant women have pretty strong gag reflexes and extremely sensitive sniffers *at least this one does*
I guess I really shouldn't complain too much, 8 months without a single stretch mark on my tummy is pretty impressive, even though I didn't start using anything until I was about 6 months pregnant, because well face it...There was NO tummy to be found anywhere!
So until this gunk dries from my morning lather, I wear big T-shirts from Andrews collection so I dont get my clothes all greasy and sticky. Andrew keeps threatening to buff up my belly and make it all shinny like a bowling ball...Thats not happening, at least not while I am awake its not.
I dont have too much on my schedule for the day (actually I have nothing on my schedule for today). I might do a little bit of journaling, which forces me to sit outside and enjoy our beautiful weather a little bit.
I am feeling entirely out of breath again today so we will see what I am capable of getting done.
Yesterday was interesting, I am fairly certain that I started being able to feel Braxton Hicks contractions, thankfully not the real thing and nothing too crazy. I was just a tad uncomfortable and my tummy was a little upset.
Luckily I live with such an amazing man that he opted to mop and clean all of the floors in the house. YAY HONEY. I knew I picked a winner!!! Thats a good man in my book!!
Well I am off to do nothing interesting at all. I hope your day is more adventurous and exciting than mine. IN A GOOD WAY.
Oh and my thoughts are going out to my dear friend Eric today and his Wife, they were sent to the hospital early this morning to induce her labor, so hopefully sometime today I will hear news of a new baby girl! Good Luck Eric and family!!!
Until Next Time

Blogging from bed
Since I am technically not supposed to be up moving around doing a lot, Today I am staying in bed (for the most part). I had a fairly busy week, at least for me, and the weekend was even more eventful. Wednesday night I went to lunch with Andrew and His friend Vlad, then that night we went over to Vlad and Stephanie's house for dinner. Thursday I went over to pick up Stephanie because she wanted to do some heavy duty shopping. We went to Katy Mills mall and spent a bit of time in Old Navy, which for once I actually liked what they had in there (maybe my taste is changing) and then we went to American Eagle. After our shopping, I was pretty pooped, but we went out to lunch at a Vietnamese place, it was pretty yummy, Ive never had it before. Friday, I spent the day cleaning and recovering from my shopping outing the day before. Justin came over on Friday night to spend the weekend with us, I guess he was on spring break. Saturday the boys did a little bit of yard work while I did laundry and entertained the puppies. After the boys were done we went to see the movie "Paul", I thought I was going to HATE it, but it was actually pretty funny, minus the fact that my gut and back were making me so uncomfortable. We had a nice steak dinner on the back porch that night and then Justin left. Andrew passed out pretty early, with his nice sun burnt back. Sunday we ran our normal weekend errands, Home Depot and the grocery store! So that leaves us off at today. So far I havent done much at all. I cleaned the toilets, since we got new toilet seats at Home Depot this weekend, and I emptied the trash cans. Next I have to sweep all of the tile floors so that Andrew can mop, which SERIOUSLY needs to be done, our floors havent been seriously cleaned in TOO long.
So I guess my Mommy is leaving Florida on Thursday to bring all of my stuff to me and to come visit. I am glad she will be here while Andrew is in Calgary, that way JUST IN CASE anything happens or I happen to go into labor (crossing my fingers that wont happen) someone will be here with me. I am excited to see her and I think my Grammy is coming with her, yay!!! We will have to find some stuff to do while they are here. We will definitely have to finish up the babies room and sort through all of my "Junk" that she is brining with her.
Well I dont have much else to say about today, I think it is going to be fairly uneventful, since it is Monday.
I hope everyone has a great day! Enjoy the outdoors if you are having great weather like we are. Ill be in bed!

Ewww Hospital
Ugh, Yesterday was not fun. I went in to the doctors for my regular weekly appointment, and I asked Andrew to meet me there *thank goodness* because I dont really like to go by myself, its boring lol. I went in, did all of the routine nonsense, did my urine test, then went in too have my blood pressure taken, yikes, When they took it on my left arm the nurses kind of looked at each other and freaked out a bit, and switched arms thinking that maybe it was a mistake but...It wasnt. My blood pressure was 149/102, scary! So, after that they didnt say anything they just put all 132 pounds of me on the scale *sadly that number was even more scary to me*. Then they sent me to the normal room to wait for the doctor....While we were sitting there I over heard my Doctor on the phone, She had called Labor and Delivery...I crossed my fingers hoping that it wasnt for me. SADLY...she walked into my room, looked at us and said, its nice to see you BUT...Im sending you over to labor and delivery right away, she said "you normally have the blood pressure and heart rate of a well fit athlete, but today...you are kind of scaring me"...its always pleasant to hear a doctor say that you are scaring them right?!?...So with that, I made my regular appointment for the following week....and we marched our butts over to LBD, we only got lost about twice on the way there though haha. But anyways, I went in, got situated in my room, was hooked up to all of the monitors. Evey sounded great, thankfully this time she didnt get the hiccups so her bump bump bump wasnt screeching down the hallways again like last time. They came in and drew about 6 things of blood, made me do another pee test, and monitored my blood pressure for a few HOURS...it stayed high the entire time I was there but thankfully went back down into the double digits instead of the 100's!!! Then they told me I could go home, but I had to do a 24 hour urinalysis *(oh joy). So now until 620 tonight, I have to pee into these two huge orange jugs and keep it in an ice bath, then bring it back to the lab this evening...FUN STUFF. Getting up every hour on the hour to pee is already annoying enough, but now it takes me about 10 minutes each time because I have to put the little bowl in the potty, measure it, dump it in the jug, put the jug back on ice, clean out my bowl and attach it back to the toilet...WHAT ON EARTH...Im glad this is only for a day! haha But anyways...The doctor just told me I am now on a strict diet, just to see if that will help with my blood pressure...and She is considering bed rest, FUN! Just when I thought time was going by pretty fast because I was staying busy...I now have to slow down (while Im feeling AWESOME by the way) and lay in bed all day...booo hooo. At least Evey is doing well...she flipping and pumping away in there. Im glad she is doing well, I would do anything to make sure she comes out healthy, but she could cut her mama some slack!!!
Alright well Im done ranting for the second day in a row....IS IT APRIL YET?!?!!?

No beach for Miss Evey!
So, Little Miss Evey and I will NOT be hitting up beach week with the rest of the family this year. Been doing my research, and I am overly convinced that it is entirely stupid to bring a baby that young to the beach. First of all...Sunscreen is NOT safe or recommended for a baby under the age of 6 months, not to mention the crazy amount of heat. Babies body temperatures are not easily regulated like us "big peoples"...Im not risking my baby getting heat stroke, SERIOUSLY?!?! The risk of a baby burning even under an umbrella or wearing at hat is serious, reflection from the sand is a huge culprit for sunburn....so no thank you. Plus I am not too keen on having my child around a bunch of drinking people, sorry but I wont play pass the baby around to all of the intoxicated relatives..no no no. Also, the beach is in Florida, I...am in Texas, My 2 month old will NOT be flying that soon. If she has an immune system at all similar to her mama, no way!!! I get sick if I SEE someone who has a cold. Plus I wont take my little sweet pea away from Andrew for that long that soon...since you know he has to do this thing called "work"!?!? NO BEACH FOR ME! and im not exactly bummed, cant you tell?

Acting for five minutes like Janice doesn't make all our lives miserable is the hardest work I'll do all day. My job title is account manager. I used to be called an account service representative, but a consultant told us we have to manage our clients, and to not service them. I have a girlfriend who I neither manage or service. That's my best friend Barry fucking her on an Ikea kitchen table I picked up for a really good price. I'm finding it hard to care about anything these days. In fact, the only thing I do care about is the fact that I can't care about anything. Seriously, it worries me. My name is Wesley Gibson. My dad walked out on my mom when I was seven days old. Preparing ourselves.
Quotation of the Day-
No matter how calmly you try to referee, parenting will eventually produce bizarre behavior, and I'm not talking about the kids. ~ Bill Cosby, Fatherhood, 1986
I am so ready to just have everything set and in place for when our little one decides to show up! I am going stir crazy. There are only a few last minute things that we NEED, I have been dropping little hints to Andrew that we need to go look at them in the store and possibly get them before we get too busy with relatives or we just flat out forget! We still need a stroller for Evey as well as her portable crib, since she will most likely be sleeping in our room for at least the first month or two *Andrew is not too pleased about that, since he has work and all that blah blah*
I have been comparing prices between "Babies R Us" and Babydepot. Seems like we will be buying her crib from Babydepot, simply because I got a coupon in the mail from there today and it would make the price of it about $20 cheaper than it would be at Babies R Us. I think we still have to buy the stroller from BRU though because I cannot seem to find it anywhere else, plus we have a 20% off coupon for it there. YAY. I love savings!
Other than her crib and stroller, we really only need a bit more diapering supplies, a monitor, some bottles maybe, and possibly a humidifier. Besides all of that we have everything else. Thanks to my mom we have the entire nursery set and rocking chair. One of my grandmas was generous enough to buy us the crib mattress. We have TONS of cloths for the little one, lots of burp cloths, pacifiers, lotions, bath tub. Thanks to Helen we have a Jumperoo, and my sister we already have a highchair for her. And of course we love Aunt Jackie for the carseat, its perfect and so safe!!! I guess the only other things we need are the bouncer and a lot of patience!!!
Hopefully I can convince Andrew to go shopping this weekend!!! Wish me luck with that one please.

Switching Positions.
Quotation of the Day-
" No doubts exist that all women are crazy; its only a question of degree."
- W. C. Fields
Not happy about having to wake up super early this morning. Its one thing to wake up to have to pee and then be able to go right back to sleep, but its another when Andrew has to get up too and turn on all of the lights and get ready for work before 7 am. Which is by the way VERY unusual. He usually is not out of bed before 8, most of the time I doubt he makes it to work before 9. It must be a busy time for Baker Hughes.
Aside from waking up early, I have not done too much today. The weather is beautiful. When I am done here I intend to sit out on the back porch for at least long enough to make a journal entry and spend a little bit of time in the sun.
Ive just done some intense organizing this week, from all of my hygiene products *which i have a bad habit of hoarding*, to the babies room, and today it was the pantry and fridge. It is almost as if Andrew and I have switched roles. He used to be the neurotically clean and organized one, while I was messy. Now I cannot stop cleaning and straightening, and he is leaving messes everywhere...hmmm think he is getting a bit comfy? I dont really mind, its not like he is "dirty", and It gives me something to keep myself busy during the day. I might get a little annoyed with it once the baby is here, but then again I might not give a crap what anything, including myself looks like!!!
There is not much else to report on today, I will have to plan some better topics for the future. I was working on Evey's scrapbook yesterday, I still need to have a lot of pictures printed out, but some of the pages are formated and decorated all ready to go. Hopefully she will appreciate it when she is older. It at least gives me something to do while I am bored during the day, and once she is born It will be a nice place to put pictures of her and make note of different happenings.
Cannot wait for our little sweet pea to get here!!! I hope that everyone has a fabulous day, and if you have good weather, ENJOY IT! If you have bad weather...stay inside, read a nice book, and take a nap for me :)

34 Weeks!
Quotation of the Day-
"Whenever a man does a thoroughly stupid thing, it is always from the noblest motives."
Oscar Wilde.
It is hard to believe that there is 34 weeks worth of Little Evey in my tummy!!! Such a crazy thought that I only have ABOUT 6 weeks left to go. For some reason I have this crazy overwhelming feeling that she is going to come early. I keep reading that because I have such a low body weight that I am more likely to deliver earlier rather than later...we shall see! As long as she decides to come when it is safe for her, anything after 37 weeks sounds good to me and the doctor. woo hoo!
Apparently during this week her nervous system will be improving and of course her longs will become more mature as well. She sure does get the hiccups a lot, so she has been practicing her breathing! GOOD GIRL!
Boo has been babysitting us all day. Every time I move from one room to the next she follows and just plunks down! She is such a sweetie pie, love this puppy to death!!!! I am so glad that Evey will at least have one sibling to grow up with. If we have it our way she will have a brother *tee hee* not TOO long afterwards. Andrew doesnt want our babies to be more than 2 years apart..YIKES. As long as I stay on track with school and I do not go crazy, I am all for it!!! Oh and, as long as we can afford it, there is nothing worse than bringing multiple babies into a family that cant even support the ones they have, sad.
Well I think I am done rambling for today, I should get back to my straightening up of the house, and of course check the front door step for some of the many things that my lovely orders offline :-)

Full weekend
Quote of the Day-
"Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength; loving someone deeply gives you courage"
Well, It has been a pretty busy weekend, at least for us. Friday night we went out to dinner with Andrew Mom, Sister, and Grandpa. We went to the Cheesecake Factory, YUM! We all ordered desert on top of our regular meal, so everyone could barely move when we left the table. I had to waddle, and thats a first!!! They came out and sang happy birthday to Andrew, and decorated the plate that had his cheesecake on it!
Alex spent the night here with us Friday and Saturday, since she does not have a bed or furniture in her new apartment yet. Boo liked that, each morning she woke up and cried and scratched at her door until Alex finally woke up and let her in (pathetic puppy)!!! She gets so sad every time someone comes to our house and then leaves.
Saturday for dinner we went over to some of Lyndas(Andrews Mom) friends house. It was a good time, Lots of food and conversation...as well as a very LARGE red velvet cake that none of us actually had room for, but attempted to eat anyways. So for the second night in a row, we left too full for words, and I once again was waddling away!
Today, being Sunday, has been one of our more lazy days. Although we did manage to get some yard work done, give Boo a bath, and make a good stab at our loads of laundry. As I type, Andrew is passed on the couch, Boo is passed out by my side...hmm as if they did SO much today! But it was good to have a day like this. Andrew and I stayed in bed until about 1, we were watching "The Temptations" and he was doing some computer work. It is so nice to be lazy and just enjoy each other and the pretty sunshine from our bedroom!

March weight madness
Quote of the Day-
"Life expectancy would grow leaps and bounds if green vegetables smelled as good as bacon."- Doug Larson
This man is SO correct!!!
Tired. Tired Tired. I am SO tired today, and yesterday I was in zombie mode as well. I don't know what it is, but recently I am just not sleeping as well as I have been. It may be that I wake up in the middle of the night STARVING and I cannot go back to sleep unless I over indulge in something yummy and filling.
I made the mistake of stepping on the scale yesterday. Then I made an even bigger mistake and turned around and looked at my thighs in the mirror :( I have never weighed this much in my life or felt so incredibly out of shape. I almost feel disgusting, Aren't pregnant women supposed to feel beautiful? UGH Its bad enough that I have awful skin during preggoness. My skin breaks out, it gets so dry and itchy, and other spots turn red and splotchy..oh the horror!
So...Since I am not allowed to "work out" or take long walks, I have decided that it is probably time to cut out all of those delicious yummys that I have been allowing myself. STARTING TODAY, since today is the first day of March (holy crap, when did that happen?)
I wont be allowing myself to eat the things I deeply love, no more blue berry muffins that are the size of my head! No more tubs of ice cream, or chocolate bars..wahh! I seriously need a wammmbulence! This is going to be hard, especially with my Junk Food Junkie, Andrew in the house. He is such a healthy eater...until he gets a CRAVING!Who am I to turn down the chance to get some ice cream?
At least I have been taking all of my vitamins that I need, now its time to cut back on the real good stuff :( tear!
I want to look as good as I can with minimal EXTRA effort after this little one pops out. Wish me luck.
I encourage everyone to take a look at their diet, making healthy food choices could make your life a little bit better!
