Im driving myself crazy cleaning constantly, however I know that Andrew is LOVING every second of it. I love having a clean house...I just wish It wasnt like a drug now. UGH

Me, You, and a dog named Boo!
Quote of the Day-
"Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole." -Roger Caras
I thought that I would dedicate a blog about our sweet little puppy. She really is such a joy to have in our house. I cannot imagine what life was like before her! She almost 7 months old now, its so hard to believe. She is so well behaved yet fully of energy!!! We have her trained her pretty well...she actually listens *well, most of the time*!!! If you didnt know Boo is actually named after the character Boo in Monsters Inc. Andrew named her that, and it certainly suits her personality...plus she responded to it :)
We bought Boo her second kong yesterday, and she has been non stop liking and chewing on it since we gave it to her, and it doesnt even have peanut butter in it anymore! She is crazy, love her so much though. She has so many toys, spoiled little pooch, but its so worth it!!!
Her toys keep getting ripped apart, its partly our fault because we play tug of war with her and they get holes in them and then she discovers the stuffing inside, UGH!

Ultrasound Day!
Quote of The Day-
"A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller, home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living."
Yay today was another ultrasound day. I drug myself out of bed at 745am just to be ready in time. We waited outside of the office for like 10 minutes because the office ladies were LATE, ugh! Then we waited in the waiting room for about half an hour because the ultrasound tech was LATE, come on people! I hate that I am an early person and everyone else has NO IDEA how to be on time!
The ultrasound went great! Evey looks good. She was so adorable she was "talking" to us, moving her lips and wiggling her feet around. Apparently what I thought has been her head bumping into my rips is really her tiny little bottom. She is already head down, way down!
She weighs around 4.5 pounds. My fluid levels were good, as well as my placenta *yayness*! She looked adorable on the screen, but of course the pictures the lady always prints out are awkward and strange..but oh well.
Oh did I mention, SHE HAS HAIR!!! I had no idea you could even tell that on an ultrasound, but we saw it. No bald baby for us! Now to see if she will have dark hair or light hair. Hopefully somewhere in between Andrew and I. Maybe if we get really lucky, she will have her Daddy's dreamy blue eyes...Hey I can dream!

Oh Sweet Sunshine!
It is such a beautiful day outside! I had to share with you what I was up to...If you have snow or its cold where you are...BE JEALOUS!!!!
There is nothing better than a good book, sunshine, and a glass of sweet tea!
Happy Birthday Andrew!
Quote of the Day-
"With each year I'll love you more. Remember that your best years are still ahead of you and I'll be here for every up, down, and in between."??? - I have no idea who said this, however it seemed pretty suitable for today.
Today is a fabulous day. It is my honeys 25th birthday. Happy Birthday Andrew! I am simply excited because I like any excuse to celebrate, and him being the way he is, he is most excited that he gets a break on his insurance (What a financial nerd)...but a smart one.
I do not have too much planned today. I woke up and baked Andrew some blueberry muffins to bring to work with him, along with a mug of English Breakfast Tea, yum. As soon as he left I got busy blowing up balloons, hanging my birthday signs, getting decorations ready, and baking the cake (which is now cooling, waiting to get frosted). I will post pictures of all of that as soon as I am done with the cake. I really hope Andrew enjoys his day, seems like he will have a fairly pleasant day at the office, they are having a BBQ. i swear he is SUCH a hard worker, but it seems at his company everyone "Hardly works"...But I wont complain, he is usually home no later than 3. YIPPIE.
Anyways, I do not have much else to report on right now, I probably will later once Andrew comes home to find the house obnoxiously decorated. I hope he loves is. I wish everyone a happy and healthy day. If you have good weather, GET OUTSIDE AND ENJOY IT. It is a beautiful day here in Texas!

Day 1 of Blogging
Quote of The Day-
" All women become like their Mothers. That is their tragedy. No man does. That's his." Oscar Wilde, The Importance of Being Earnest, 1895.
Picture of The Day-
Well, Its Thursday! This week seems like it is creeping by a little slowly. I think it is because I am waiting to help Andrew celebrate his 25th Birthday tomorrow. I cannot believe my old man will be a quarter of a century old. Do not fret, I have been quick to remind him of his age almost every day! Poor guy. As far as I know we are not doing much to celebrate, While he is gone at work I am going to bake him a cake and cupcakes, as well as decorate the house with balloons. I got him a funny card, but nothing else really, we apparently are not too big on celebrating in this house...but I wanted to do SOMETHING!

Photo Day 1, Officially 32 weeks pregnant! |
As of this week I am officially 32 weeks pregnant, If you had not already noticed. I still feel fairly tiny, especially when I look at other pregnant people. However I am not complaining, Less stretching, I fit into all of my clothes, and less weight to loose once the baby is out.
I have decided on what to do for my blog. Each day I will pick a quote that sounds like something interesting for the day, I will post a daily picture, and I will be teaching a bit of French vocabulary, More so I can brush up! Everything else, such as my ramblings will come and go! I think every Wednesday after my doctors appointment I will post my weekly weight and keep you updated on Evey's growth and changes! Looking forward to hearing from everyone. Have a good day!
Daily French Vocabulary-
Phrase 1- I am...
Je Suis...
(I have chosen to include a French word/phrase each day to my blog, After studying the language for 5 years I could use a little reminder and brush up. I figured everyone else can help review with me!)

A Fresh Start
Many times I have TRIED to start a blog. Each time I have failed. I would really like to stick to it, make it special, and interesting for that matter. I normally end up just rambling on like a looney. My goal is to keep this interesting, to not over post, and to make people actually like it, while I spend some of my free time enjoying this! Everyone will have to tell me what they think, be honest now, I can take it :p
You may have noticed that the title of my Blog is "C'est La Vie". I did not name it that because of the 5 years of french that are pounded into my head, I named it that because that is simply my life motto. I even have it tattooed on my shoulder. When things get rough and I seem to be feeling down I just remind myself "That's life"!
I know I am just throwing a lot of information out there, but how else am I supposed to start a successful blog? I'll start off by saying, only about 8 weeks left of this pregnancy, and time is creeping by! I just want to hold my sweet little girl, Evey. I cannot wait to meet her. She is part of the reason I am starting this. I want to be able to keep all of my family and friends included in whats going on in our lives. Also, I love the fact that I can document happenings with her and with my life and have it all to look back on. Blogging is a good idea, and pretty relaxing, even if no one ever reads it! Its like a journal you don't mind someone taking a peek at! I love it.
Thats about all I have to say for now, Find out more about me in my "About Me" section. You can meet my growing family just by reading about all of us.
Until next time,
Jamie-Leigh
