Miss Evey is 2 Weeks old.

Yay. We have survived our first two weeks of being parents, I was starting to think we wouldnt. Evey is doing wonderfully, she is already rolling herself over, We arent ready for that!!!

We didnt do anything exciting for Easter, we just stayed home and slept all day, all 4 of us.

This week Eveys Aunt is coming to visit her for the first time. We are all excited!!!

Bath and Nap time

So, we finally built up the courage to give Miss Evey her first bath at home.

It went a lot better than we thought, she TRULY does NOT like to have her clothes off at all, but she behaved nicely!

Today has been fairly uneventful, so I decided to experiment a little and see how our little one liked her crib.

I only expected to lay her in there for a few seconds, waiting for her to wail. BUT, to my surprise, she looked around for a little while, scrunched herself up, and fell fast asleep. I stood over her crib in AWE just starring at my beautiful girl as she slept...and I so rudely snapped a few photos.

Just wanted to give everyone a big THANK YOU for everything that people have sent us, from the cards, to the flowers, blankets, and anything that we received at the baby shower and in between. We really appreciate everyones generosity and love.

A BIG BIG BIG thank you to my Mom and Dad for all you have done in the past month especially, I was lucky enough to have my mom here for about 3 weeks helping us out with EVERYTHING, she was the best thing ever!!! Im also really glad that my dad was able to fly out even if only for a day to see his new grandbaby, I know it is something we will never forget! We love you!!!!

1 Week Old

Little Miss Evey Is one week old today!!!

So far she is a very happy baby, sleeps all day, poops all night, and smiles pretty for her Mommy and Daddy!
